Wk 4 Discussion – Conic Sections

This week we learn about conic sections that include parabolas, ellipses, and hyperbolas. If you look at the world around us, you will see some of these shapes and not realize that they are there. A prime example is the Golden Gate Bridge. You will see the suspension cables that hold up the bridge are in the shape of parabolas.Respond to the following prompts in a minimum of 175 words:Where in your community or state do you see conic sections?
