ASSN ATTACHEDMedical discourse communityProfessionals who discuss medical issues form the medical discourse community. Doctors, nurses, medical students, and other healthcare professionals make up this group. The medical discourse community speaks about complex subjects and employs specialist jargon. The community of medical discourse exists to share knowledge and to care for patients (Alnashwan et al, 2019). This community conducts research on health issues to develop effective health interventions that improve the quality of healthcare. They collaborate with patients and patient’s families to provide patient-centered care. Medical anthropology, medical sociology, and medical history are a few examples of the many sub-fields that make up the very vast discipline of the medical discourse community (Alnashwan et al, 2019). Our society cannot function without the medical community.ReferencesAlnashwan, R., Sorensen, H., O’Riordan, A., & Hoare, C. (2019). Accurate classification of socially generated medical discourse.
