What do you like/hate the most about being a lawyer.

As a lawyer, what do you like/hate the most about being a lawyer.  Do you think the 3-year training in law was worth the cost and time?  What are some of the most sought-after specialties in law (ex. corporate law, patent law, etc.) and how do you specialize (i.e. do you need any special certificate, training, etc.)?  How difficult is it to become a prosecutor or a judge?
