Purpose
This assignment is intended to help you learn to do the following:
- Discuss the four types of innovation culture from Meyer’s study.
- Analyze management models enabling organizational creativity.
Overview
In the discussion section of his research study, Meyer identifies four types of innovative culture and in its conclusion, states, “The results [of the study] should shift the focus in innovation management from the procedural consideration to the establishment of management models that envision company units with varying degrees of organizational creativity.”
In this discussion, you will consider the four types of innovation culture and how they can be implemented at an organization.

- Read the Discussion Guidelines, the Overview above, and the required article in Module 2 Preparation.
- By the due date indicated, create an initial post that answers the following:
- Are the four types of innovation culture a viable deduction from the research? If so, why? If not, why not?
- How could “management models enabling organizational creativity” be conceived, created, and implemented in an organization? (e.g., your current or past organization).
