Parenting style cost presentation

Review the following parenting resource websites and the programs offered:

Select one of the programs you reviewed. Then, prepare a 15-20-slide PowerPoint presentation about your selected program. The presentation should include the following:

  1. A title and reference slide
  2. A description of the parenting program
  3. A brief review of research, books, and/or articles associated with the program.
  4. Identification of the parenting style affiliated with the program (authoritative, authoritarian, permissive, uninvolved, etc.)
  5. A critique of the selected program
  6. A summary of findings and recommendations for working with parents
  7. Include speaker notes below each content-related slide that represent what would be said if giving the presentation in person. Expand upon the information included in the slide and do not simply restate it. Please ensure the speaker notes include a minimum of 50 words.

While APA style is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected and in-text citations and references should be presented using APA documentation guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
