Analysis:
- For Laboratory Application Assignment on pg. 555 examine Fig. 18-37.
- Perform the following calculations:

- Z1
- I
- Vc
- Vr
- thetaZ
- Examine Fig. 18-38a and perform the following calculations:
- Xc
- Ic
- Ir
- It
- Zeq
- theta1
- Scan all calculations showing all work in a file called “Lab3_Analysis_StudentID”.
- Upload file “Lab3_Analysis_StudentID”
Simulation:
- Construct the circuit in Fig. 18-37 with MultiSIM.
- Measure the following values with a DMM:
- I
- Vc
- Vr
- Vt – requires a calculation
- Xc – requires a calculation
- thetaZ – requires a calculation
- Do not construct phasor voltage triangle. Disregard instructions to measure phase angle with the oscilloscope.
- Capture a screenshot of measured values and paste into a Word document entitled “Lab3_Simulation_StudentID”
- Construct the circuit in Fig. 18-38a with MultiSIM.
