smart goals
Plan for the future – think about the 3 things that are stressing you out the most (ie job, school, finances, health, etc)
- Use the SMART format to write three personal goals
- Write out one goal for each of your main stressor (3 total) that are:
- Specific
- Measurable
- Action-oriented
- Realistic
- Time-based
- (ie I will deposit $50 from every paycheck into my bank account for the next year)
- (ie I will spend 5 hours studying for the GRE each week until I take the exam in 2 months)
- (ie I will workout 3 times a week for 30 minutes a day for the next 6 months)
