Leadership for Organizational Change: Change Management Plan Project This project is due on the date indicated in your syllabus. You will turn in a paper copy of our project AND you will complete an oral presentation of the project in class. The dates below are only provided to keep you on track. While nothing is technically due until the final due date, it is in your best interest to stay on track with this schedule. Class discussions will assume adherence to the schedule below.
Project components and assessment:

Section 1. Outline the opportunity for change [2 pages] What data exists to support the need for change? If it doesn’t exist, describe how you might collect the data? Is additional research needed to support the need for change? How will the change support the organizational mission & vision? [20 points]
Section 2. Plan for pre-assessment [2 pages] Describe the “investigative phase”. Assume you are appointed team leader of a task force that will be charged with investigating, discussing, planning, and assessing the needed change. How will you plan this phase of the change? Who will you choose to serve on task force? Prepare an initial agenda for this meeting.

Section 3. Plan for Implementation [2-3 pages] Assume your data and “investigative phase” supports the need for change. Describe your detailed plan for implementing change including goals & objectives, target dates, motivators you might include, interim assessment, and a “back up” plan in case you don’t need expected deadlines or expectations.
