Native American Media Writing with The Intention of Initiating Change Paper

The purpose of this assignment is to practice media writing with the intention of initiating change in the way a topic is usually discussed. The topic for this assignment is Native American/First Nations mascots. The topic is typically dismissed as some argue that the mascot is an honour, and that Native Americans are trying to garner political sympathy. Your task is to change the way we talk about mascots.
