Chapter 11 Griffith and Goodwin Case Study Analysis

After reading Ch. 11 in Griffith and Goodwin (2013), in no less than three pages, please address “Scenario 1” in “Case: Negotiations for Life” (pp. 202-204). Instead of role-playing the scenario as a class, you will provide a step-by-step solution to “Scenario 1,” assuming the role of “Joe.” First, you will analyze the problem, considering the seven elements of a successful negotiation from Joe’s perspective. From there, decide on the negotiation strategy you will take, considering the problem from both Joe’s and Jim’s perspective. Finally, discuss how you would negotiate, as “Joe,” with “Jim.”

Your paper should be in APA style, with a Title and References page. At minimum, you should cite the class textbook and at least two other academic sources to support your claims. No Abstract is needed.
