Social Transformation
In Chapter 8 in text, you learned about the multiple levels of the social environment. This is important to understand so that strengths in these levels can be identified and utilized to help promote protective factors. In addition to protective factors, there are also risk factors in each social environment. Both factors contribute to the success of social transformation.
Please use your chapter reading and the Library to research peer reviewed journal articles to respond to the following:
Identify the different settings of social environments.
Discuss the characteristics of a social environment that would lead to positive, protective outcomes for children and families.
Discuss the challenges that exist when transforming multiple environments.
Examine your community and identify different levels of the social environment. Discuss how these environments could be utilized to create social transformation.
Explore any risk factors that may exist.
