Focusing on Nolan’s article on US presidents and their use of intelligence advisers, and Zegart’s article on Congress’ role in formal oversight, discuss the current relationship between oversight groups and the intelligence communities in context to past administrations and Congresses.

Considering that the balance of power in Congress has also affected committee membership and power, do some research and discuss how the new leaders could influence the Director Of National Intelligence’s position on economic espionage.
