A person who doesn’t identify with a state or nation or some other place and places their identity within a global community is displaying global citizenship. Global citizens do not feel as if they belong to a certain group, they belong to the globe and are here to represent all people and be a world citizen. Understanding all cultures, being able to communicate with them, and being aware of varied cultures you may face will be very important for an individual’s career.

I personally do not think women are marginalized in the media to the degree some individuals may believe. Women have come such a long way, they have top positions, serve in our military, and a woman even ran for President. We can do anything a man can do and have delivered time and time again and it’s displayed in America. Women have a different view on society and their input is needed in the media. United Nations should intervene because women are needed in all countries. Men have a certain way of viewing topics and reaching conclusions that is different when asked a women’s point of view in some circumstances. For debate and to reach healthy conclusions, a woman’s input is necessary so both gender’s views are considered
