1. In your textbook, Fundamentals of Corporate Finance, read:
   1. Chapter 3, “Working with Financial Statements,” pages 54–73 (sections 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, and 3.5)
2. Download and review the PowerPoint file Chapter 3 – Working with Financial Statements.ppt to help you further understand the chapter.
3. Using Excel, complete the following problems in your textbook, Fundamentals of Corporate Finance:
   1. Calculating Ratios: Problems 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 on pages 85-86.
   2. Standardized Financial Statements: Problems 13 and 14 on page 87, preparing common-size balance sheets and common-base year balance sheets for Just Dew It.
