Documenting a Task Paper
Write a paper in which you identify a process and a simple task (examples below) within that process. Because this task will be tested by a peer, consider your audience carefully, materials needed, and the ability of a peer to use your instructions in a home setting. Use the “Elements of Effective Instructions” covered on pages 262-265 in Strategies for Effective Communication in the Workplace. Visuals are not required at this point. The task should be 2-3 pages in length, double-spaced with a 12 pt font. Provide detailed instructions with a title, overview, body, conclusion, and notes, if necessary.
