Discuss the impact of community policing towards fostering positive police community relations. Also discuss how community policing may be used in the so-called war-on-drugs especially pertaining to gangs.

Answer to the question should be between 500-1000 words. A minimum of two references need to be used in the development of your answer. 

You also need to provide two (2) feedback posts to your peers. Each feedback post needs to be 250 words or more, and should include information that helps to enhance the discussion on the topic.

References must come from sources such as, scholarly journals found in EBSCOhost, CNN, online newspapers such as, The Wall Street Journal, government websites, etc. Sources such as, Wikis, Yahoo Answers, eHow, blogs, etc. are not acceptable for academic writing.
