On March 11, 2011, the northeastern part of Japan was hit by three disasters, an 8.9-magnitude earthquake, a tsunami, and the leakage of radiation from its nuclear power plants. Surveillance of diseases is a major public health response that was undertaken following the impact. Purpose of Assignment

Week 3 will help students develop an understanding of what money is, what forms money takes, how the banking system helps create money, and how the Federal Reserve controls the quantity of money.
