Using the information that you have compiled over the past four modules, prepare your summary recommendation  for Gentry Inc. and its plan to expand internationally. Remember that  the company is trying to raise $50 million to expand via an IPO and debt  issuance.  

Create a 10-15 slide presentation  detailing your findings. Your recommendation should be 1-2 slides. Note  that the title slide and reference slides are not included in the 10-15  total. Be sure to include academic references in your presentation as  well as any charts or graphs to convey your financial information. 

Include a summary the deliverables from Modules 02-04 in the presentation.

Your slides should flow as a cohesive presentation, not a patchwork of distinct pieces of information.

Based on the concepts that you learned this week from the assigned  videos and articles surrounding growth strategies for companies, make an  initial assessment of whether Gentry should expand into China, Japan,  and Germany all at one time or in a phased approach.

Purpose of assignment

The purpose of the assignment is to build you skill to research and explore specific aspect(s) of auditing and assurance as a group, and prepare and submit written work in academically acceptable format linking your auditing and assurance knowledge and skill to the corporate world

This is a two parts assignment. TASK PART A: AUDITING AND ASSURANCE [15 Marks]

You are the manager of CWC Chartered Accountants. Your firm has been engaged as external auditor of Elmo Software Limited on 28 September 2018 to audit the company’s financial report of the year ending 30 June 2019. The engagement partner called you in his office on 1 October 2018 and gave you complete audited financial report of Elmo Software Limited for the year ended 30 June 2018, and asked you to complete the following preliminary planning tasks and report to him on 1 November 2018:

You are therefore required to prepare and present

1. (i)  preliminary risk assessment of Elmo Software Limited giving an
   understanding of the company and its environment;
2. (ii)  analytical review of Elmo Software Limited showing the company’sfinancial performance, financial position and business risks. Discuss the specific areas of the audit that you believe should receive special emphasis during your audit; and
3. (iii)  computation on planning materiality for Elmo Software Limited with justification for the basis that you have used for your calculation.

For the first essay your task is to think critically about comedic (parodies or satires) and “straight” depictions of the current political situation. You will use a variety of skills covered in class—making inferences, analyzing media imagery, identifying audience and purpose, and understanding and articulating hidden assumptions.

Write an essay (1,500 words) that analyzes the intent of one instance of comedic political “coverage.” Describe the differences between a single instance of political comedy (use a political cartoon-please see attachment or a Saturday Night Live sketch-please check this video) and its “real life” equivalent moment or situation. Examine the explicit and implicit points the two versions make by determining their audiences and purposes, and by making inferences and judgments based on imagery and language.
