 Here’s an example of an incubator in the Dayton area (Links to an external site.)  http://tecdayton.com/ (we saw a video on this place (Links to an external site.)  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NRiN9p__c08&feature=youtu.be earlier in the module). Search for an incubator that could have helped your cleint when they first started their business. Address the following:

  • Include the incubator’s name, brief description, and a link to their website. 
  • What services do they offer?
  • How much will it cost to take advantage of the incubator’s services?
  • What are your impressions of the incubator?

Second part (discussion)

1) Find two examples of specialized incubators, meaning those incubators who focus on helping business in a particular industry or field. Briefly describe the two examples you found and what industries they cater to. 

2) Think about the needs of non-profit organizations. What kinds of services should an incubator provide to not-for-profits?

3) Review what others have written. Reply to at least two posts that you think posted unique specialized incubators. What about them is unique? Do you think they have longevity, meaning will the incubators survive over the next 10 or more years? Why or why not?
