INSTRUCTIONS:

Read the following hypothetical:Greg and Marcia board a flight from LA to NYC so Greg can appear on a talk show where he is going to reveal to Alice that he has a secret crush on her. They board the flight at 2:00 pm. It is set to take off at 2:32 pm. They are told at 2:30 pm that there is a delay due to some issues with the plane. The passengers on the flight are told they cannot leave the plane since it left the terminal and is on the tarmac. Finally after 11 hours, the passengers are told the plane is going back to the terminal and they would have to find another flight.Greg feels he missed his one and only chance to tell Alice he loves her and wants to sue the airline for false imprisonment and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
In a 1-2 page paper, discuss whether or not Greg has a case. Explain your position in detail.
