There are many social issues that extend well beyond national borders, such as poverty, food insecurity, violence against women, and lack of access to healthcare. These issues require collective action and an ability to respond quickly to wherever the need is. Since the inception of Doctors Without Borders, a groundbreaking organization dedicated to providing life-saving medical care all over the world, many other organizations have followed suit and are addressing a number of global social problems in innovative ways.You will focus on one of these organizations and examine some of the innovative strategies that are used to address global social issues and problems.
